Very Few Attend Public Forum to Discuss Feasability of New Jail
Friday, May 16, 2008 -- The Russell County Jail has “served its time," that’s how jail consultant Jim Woodrum phrased it during an interview with WJRS News following last evening’s “public forum” to discuss the feasibility of building a new jail. During his presentation before the Russell County Fiscal Court and about 20 persons that attended the forum, Woodrum discussed three scenarios of constructing a new jail.
